Since I failed to sell the Alkesh, I've had to come to a deal with Mr. Wolesley. Well... a distinctly less favourable 'deal' than I would have liked. In fact - I think you have an expression here - a 'fait à compli'. I thought of it as being 'had over a barrell'.
Anyway, Wolesley's people were fed up with complaints from the US Airforce, Federal Aviation Authority and Dept. of Civil Avaition. I had to leave the Alkesh cloaked, but aero-planes had to fly around it. Fair-do's... they couldn't see any reason to fly around an 'empty' space. Several flocks of birds have also flown into it and unfortunately died because they couldn't see it. So the American Society for the Protection of Wildlife have also complained about the mystery deaths. Several houses in nearby towns were also complaining about television and radio interference.
Apparently.
So, the Alkesh has gone to Area 51 (is that a Transport Dealership??) and I have been given a Cargo ship as replacement. I was advised, very strongly, not to complain about the deal.
And to think... not so long ago, I was a GOD on several (admittedly small) worlds!!!
It's just not fair!!!

I still have that wardrobe of clothes, waiting for the right occasion...
Dr. Weir, what a poor bedside manner! Knocking out Marines! Whatever next... sedation of innocent 'guests' of SGC with sensible, liberal attitudes to possession and ownership?
