RIGHT
We are officially back i can say the weekend was a sucess we even managed to find one of our missin team members Sgt Sammy Stevenson who on her first time out managed to kill a Wraith 
the friday night party on abidos was good even if the was several random villagers wandering about  all a little bit worst for wear but Sg1 was there to sort things out 
most of sat was spent mingiling and chatting to various people (Sheppard,Ronin,Major Davis,Skara and that system lord fella Apohis  )
Sat night saw us gate back to earth for a Sgc Ball which went down well Vala was well behaved for a change i think it was all the important people about with shiney medals and stuff Dr higgs has the survalance pics of our entrance to the ball and some of the othere imporytant people we mett including the Joint Cheif of Staff and some random Russian general who i put to work as a lift bell boy gotta find a use for these damn russians
Sunday turned in to a sleepy day and around 3 Oclock i had to get some much needed kip  even a kiss form Dr Higgs could not bring me back from the dead so i missed the final fare wells DOH !!!
All in all it was a great weekend i know there is another one towards the end of year to which all SGC team members will be present at that is an order!!!
Oh just out of intrest there was Cake

Good to hear the mission went well Colonel. The Doc and I will be reporting for duty for the next one, you'll need the team with you. Especially as I hear that a certain Mr Nemec will be attending...

OK I have the MALP on a stick minus the stick images from Chev 7.2.
First off we came across a rebel Jaffa enjoying the locals hospitality on friday night, got on well with Major Davies
He even ligtened up and enjoyed some of our terran style dancing,
a good night was had, and come the next morning the colonel was happy to get to his fruit loops 
Allthough as the day went on Vala started to play up a bit so we had to Zat her, but after that she behaved really well the rest of the weekend,,
The time we waited for her to come round again gave the colonel time to sort out a very important highly technical issue..
Then came THE SATURDAY NIGHT official USAF party, me and the colonel decided we'd escort Vala to the ball,, she keeps saying no one man could handle her so doubling up seemed like the best idea...
And had Sgt Stevenson on hand aswell just incase..
Which was lucky when we came across a Wraith who had snuck in, she soon disabled him,,
and we escorted him to the holding area whilst Sammy kept an eye on Vala...
We even bumped into Young Jack whilst we where there,,,
After that we came across a Russian officer, and well put him to work doing what he's good for...
The next day we continued to sucure the event, but eventually the colonel had to rest, and when he rests dam does he rest, I think he was in a acient criogenic device,, even tried the fairy tale technique first,,
but we had an ace up our sleve, we know how to wake the colonel...

After a long conversation with the Joint Cheif of Staff i still didnt know what he was on about although i must say he ha smor shiney stuff on his uniform than i do
and as a future note im putting forward that the next SGC Ball is held some where with a little more class some of the facilities....

Well, we could find you some more shiny things sir, but Vala would probably just... borrow... them anyway...
Better facilities is not going to be difficult... I think it'll be hard to find worse!

Well Colonel, the way I see it, putting sand in the toilets was going just a little too far in trying to make the folk of Abydos feel at home...
Good idea Doc, though I have the feeling Vala may soon see through our ploy and go after the valuable shiny things again...
