I thought I'd mention the next Chevron event. Its at the Park Inn in Northampton on 12th - 14th November.
I'm definitely going, as I really enjoyed 7.3 and by mentioning this early, hoped we could get a good sized team together.
Guests include Michael Shanks and Teryl Rothery, so should be a good 'un!
What do you think Colonel? Does the above intel warrant a looksee?

Keep an eye out for the new cozzie too... (not saying what it will be though just yet)

Pity you missed the last one mate the Sgu guy was pretty cool and kept following me all around the event only to be stopped out side by our very own Makepeace to have a 10 min conversation and then ask him who he was and what he was there for no wonder we keep him locked away !!!!

I'll be there. Staying in the Ibis this time as I couldn't get into the Park Inn.
Have you seen the party themes - Las Vegas casino for Friday and Wormhole Extreme wrap party. Not a lot of wiggle room there for Offworld green and blacks, but I think I'll say bugger it and wear them anyway!
If anyone's interested I've got an airsoft MP5 for sale for £30 if anyone wants it for a costume and three or four Atlantis earpieces at £4 each. I can bring them to Chevron for collection.

Sooooo they FINNALY released the party themes, with only weeks to go I say boycot the theme's anyway, if they leave it that late how can they expect anyone to have a themed outfit F-Em thats what I say, I'll just wear something
Try the parkinn website mate you should be OK now, they always are well booked until about a week or 2 before then all the drop outs happen

I'm staying in the Ibis as is Terry...
Sod the party themes - they do this for every Chevron... announcing the themes with less than 2 weeks to go... Bleedin' muppets... How they expect anyone to get a themed cozzie together in that timeframe (unless you're Lee) I'll never know...
I'm sure the Vegas Casino and Wormhole X-treme have been done before haven't they? I couldn't care less to be honest... The Colonel doesn't get to wear his medals very often so that's me sorted for the Friday...
The Saturday party has never been any good at any of the previous Chevrons so I think a pub in town might well be in order instead...
